Rob Clooney has set his sights on a busy and productive year ahead. His goals include completing his collegiate journey by earning his bachelor’s degree, publishing several new books, and grinding out a few more matches inside the ring. While Rob is currently nursing an injury, he remains optimistic about returning to in-ring competition by the summer. In the meantime, he stays active as a volunteer wrestling coach, continues developing multiple writing projects, and has even been jotting down ideas for a few parody jingles along the way.

🍔 "Headlock on Hunger" Fundraiser in Jackson 🍕

The Jackson, Michigan Salvation Army is hosting a "Headlock on Hunger" fundraising event on Saturday, March 7th. Rob will be reprising his role as "CrossFit" Clooney, as he teams with his Twinkie Power teammate, "Mr. Fitness" Slim Trimmons. Together, the Twinkie enthusiasts will square off against The Monahan Boys. This fundraiser is accepting either food and/or monetary donations toward their Food Pantry. ⚡ Thunderstruck Wrestling at Rouge Days 2026

Although he came up short in his bid to become the first Thunderstruck Wrestling Champion, Rob delivered a standout performance in the Rouge Rumble, appearing to have the match won before a controversial decision altered the outcome. Rob has formally petitioned the Thunderstruck Wrestling committee to review the results of the Rouge Rumble, and the results are finally in...

Along with "Amazing" N8 Mattson, Rob has been credited with being a co-winner of the 2025 Rouge Rumble. With a championship opportunity awarded to the RUmble winner, Rob will face N8 in a "#1 Contender's Match" during this year's Rouge Rumble event, which is scheudled for September 12th, during the annual Rouge Days festival in River Rouge, Michigan.
